Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I'm so happy and grateful for the genius of those techies who created and developed the internet and the blogging system that I feel a little guilty saying anything but words of high praise.
I just want to let you know that I recognize the glitches in my blog and plan to work them out as I go along. Lucky for me, most of the folks who are discovering the blog seem to like the idea and content enough to bear with me. And since I finally got enough nerve to tackle trying to add a counter to my site about a week ago, (Google Analytics) I found out I'm getting visitors from 10 countries. World domination can't be too far away.
In the meantime, I'm going to use my actual posts to just touch base now and then and to add key words so that search engines can find the covers, titles and stuff I'm posting. OK?

You said a mouth-full there, Lowell. Altho for lazy folks, not having a job is THE EASY WAY OUT -- a way to be lazy and maybe get partial unemployment or perhaps getting on BY by other means...for most people (scrupulous) as we hope most are, the economy is a VERY rude awakening to a system that is totally out of control.
Just this very moment (probably when you were putting this cover up, I spoke to a woman who had lost her job after 20 years at being at a hospital. Her druggy daughter of 37 left her with an 18 month old baby. 17 years she had left her with her first child. The woman is near 60 and she is 'scared shitless' which is term from the Hippy Days of Woodstock circa 40 years ago. Some things never change...but for the most part, there's nothing happy about NOT having a job - esp. with an economy that never gives the LITTLE GUY or GAL a break, plus retailers who can't seem to lower their prices as their rents increase...
It's not so much now as
BUY THE COVER -- it's the RECOVER(y) that will either make or break the American today.
Once again, you struck a nerve...
You do that so well, Mr. T.

Hey Adrienne,
I assume you're referring to my "Out of a Job...And Lovin' It" cover. Your story about the woman who lost her job sparked a new soundbite in my mind. It's the reverse of one Irving Kristol, the neo-conservative who just died said. He said, "A neo-conservative is a liberal who just got mugged" I say "a liberal is a Republican who just lost his job". I know you're not much for politics, but you can quote me on that.
Just be sure to spell my name right: L O W E L L T H O M P S O N.
Lowell, once again you are WRITE...and with that in mind, did you tell YOUR PEOPLE about the great piece you wrote on Arianna Huffington's Post at:

Well, if not, then I just did! If your Writing, Painting and Ponderings are any indication of an active mind OVER 35 that is not getting all the credit and accolades that you certainly deserve by now, then let this all serve as a Prototype of HOW Civilization should be lead. I said: SHOULD BE...not that it is,of course. And, yes, you can quote/unquote me on that one, too.
To Quote/Unquote you: Just spell my name right and include my middle name, then I'll vote for you NEXT election on the Artistic Platform.
That's
Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith,
of course.
May the Force be with you, Lowell T.
